Waterloo United Methodist Church has been the center of inspiration and
faith for the residents of Waterloo Village since its 1859 beginning. The church continues to
be an open and embracing community and welcome persons from a variety of cultural, economic, and
religious traditions.
Right now our church needs to replace all 18 of our exterior shutters. We are hoping to raise $20,000.00 for the cost of this project. Our goal is to raise these funds so that we can begin the work in the fall of 2016. We have planned a number of fundraising events to help us reach our financial goal, but we need your help.
One of the fundraising activities is selling commemorative bricks. This will serve a dual purpose: raising funds enabling us to repair our shutters and creating a brick walkway through the often muddy area from the church toward the Parish House.
Our brick paver fundraiser is a way that you can help with the cost to replace all 18 shutters while permanently commemorating your memories, family, and friends. Your brick will be your custom memory or tribute and will forever be on display at the Waterloo United Methodist Church.
We appreciate all the support from the generations of
families who have been touched by the joy and love of our treasured Waterloo United Methodist
Church over the past 157 years.
