Veterans Day is observed on November 11th and the ceremonies officially begin when a wreath is placed on the unknown soldier’s grave at 11 am at the Arlington National Cemetery. This act is meant to honor not just the Unknown Soldier but all of the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces.
Much of the work we do here at Polar Engraving involves many different Veterans Organizations. We have worked with local American Legion Posts & American Legion Rider Chapters, Gold Star Mothers, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, branches of the Military including bases in the U.S. and abroad, as well as Veteran’s Memorials across the country.
Every single day we see our customers honor and help support our veterans; the fallen, those who are still serving, the retired & their families. The charitable giving helps not only to honor our vets but also to give much needed support for them and their families. Donations have been used from everything from care packages for soldier in the field, medical bills, housing. Many of the engraved brick and tile fundraising campaigns also help to fund community projects.
Brick and Tile Engraving Leaves a Lasting Legacy: Engraved tiles and engraved memorial bricks are a wonderful way to honor our Veterans with a gift that will stand the test of time. Beautifully engraved bricks and tiles can be used to create honor walls, engraved brick paths, patios, gardens and also any other creative use you can think of. Your donors will have an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy in the messages they choose for their engraved bricks or engraved tiles.
Custom Messages and Art Work: Donors can show their support for our soldiers and sailors with custom messages, words of encouragement and even military insignia, seals, and clip art. Polar Engraving offers a wide variety of clip art from our extensive clip art library. Donors can also choose to submit their own clip art with no additional set up or conversion fees. This gives your donors the ability to create truly custom engraved bricks or tiles for your commemorative brick or memorial project. The price of an engraved clip art, logo, or custom artwork is always just $6 per engraved image. Donors can submit everything from hand drawn pieces of art, specific rank clip art, battalion insignia and even list the naval craft a soldier or sailor has served on, further personalizing their engraved brick or tile.
An engraved brick project can be a lasting fundraising campaign in itself. Using a sand bed installation will allow for your veterans project to last for years to come. Simply pop out blank bricks and replace them with your new engraved bricks. Engraved donor walls can also be added to as time goes on. As long as you have a wall you have the ability to expand.
During Polar Engraving’s 19 plus years in business we have not had a single request to replace an entire project because of our engraving. Polar Engraving uses a hybrid engraving technique that utilizes both a laser engraving process and a sandblasting process in conjunction with a specially formulated paint that adheres to the engraved bricks or tiles. We offer a lifetime warranty on our brick and tile engraving and Polar Engraving guarantees the quality of the engraving and legibility of the lettering for the lifetime of the bricks and tiles we engrave. We guarantee no chipping, fading, or peeling of the inside letters.
