4 Simple Ways to Promote Your Brick Fundraising Campaign

The first Independence Day celebration was 240 years ago on July 4th, 1777. Ever since we have celebrated with parties, BBQs concerts, and of course wonderful fireworks shows that light up the sky across our great nation. These events draw large crowds and are a great way to connect with our communities and potential brick donors. Below are four simple ways to promote your engraved brick or tile fundraiser through strategic event marketing.

1. Sponsoring Fundraising Events:

Become a sponsor for the local fireworks display for the Fourth of July. Many communities will accept contributions from sponsors and in exchange will advertise your organization or campaign on their website and on banners at the events. You can also sponsor other local events which will help to promote your organization and your engraved brick project. Creating a custom logo for your brick fundraiser or creating a catchy web address for the project will also help people at the event easily remember where they can purchase their engraved brick or tile.

2. Local Event Participation:

Participating in local events can boost the visibility of your engraved brick campaign. Getting involved in charity walks and races helps give back to the community and help promote your brick fundraising project. You can get a group of volunteers to sign up, all wearing matching t-shirts with information about your brick campaign. By placing your free donor website address on the t-shirts, you literally become a walking billboard.

3. Hosting Special Events to Raise Money:

Your organization can host a special event for the community. If you have space at your facility, you can set up a movie night, or you can hold free workshops. This is a great way to involve the community to take part in your organization. You can also have information available on how to order an engraved brick or tile. If you have computers at the facility that are available for your guests to use, you can use your free donor website to easily collect orders at your event. Invite guests to order online or have them sign up for your mailing list.

4. Online Workshops:

Online events can be used for the launch of your engraved brick fundraiser, online workshops, or as a teaching tool. Many of the hosting platforms give your guests the opportunity to ask questions in real-time using chat servers.
