If you are doing a brick fundraising around the holidays, chances are that someone will inquire about any Black Friday deals you might be creating. If you are interested in creating a deal for your benefactors but are not sure how to, we have some helpful tips for you to incorporate into your brick campaign.
1. BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE
Everyone loves BOGO deals. For your brick fundraiser, you can offer your donors the chance to buy an engraved brick and get a second for free in exchange. If you plan on doing this, make sure that you are charging enough for your bricks, to begin with, so it won’t take any money away from your fundraising efforts.
2. REMOVE A PERCENTAGE
Creating a blast email about a discount to all of those involved/interested in your brick fundraiser is one of the best ways to get the word out about your sale. Extend your sale to Cyber Monday and allow your donors to get a percentage off their purchase if they make an order in the time in between.
3. A GIFT WITH YOUR PURCHASE
As an incentive to make a purchase, you can offer your donors a free engraved clip art for their brick or a free replica tile. The clip art costs typically $6 additional, while the replica tile is $10.
4. OFFER A “LIMITED EDITION” COLOR
Organizations are typically allowed to have two color options for the engraved bricks they are selling. If your organization currently has one color, you can offer a “limited edition” color to donors who purchase engraved pavers in your set time frame.
