Dec 19
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! If you are currently brick fundraising in December, then you are in luck. According to Neon One nearly one-third of annual giving occurs in December. On top of that, 12% of all giving happens in the last three days of the year! Getting in touch with your donors during this time period is imperative if you are wanting to maximize your end-of-the-year brick donations.
PASSING OUT FLYERS WHILE CAROLING
Passing out flyers while caroling is an efficient way to get the message across about your brick fundraiser while spreading joy. This also gives you the opportunity to go door to door and make connections without coming across as too pushy. For extra effect, you can even attach a candy cane or some other holiday treat to your brick campaign brochure!
OFFERING SPECIAL DEALS
Giving your donor free clip art or free engraved replica tile during the holidays creates an incentive for them to make a purchase through you. If your donor is giving the engraved brick away as a gift, you can suggest for them to print out their receipt and wrap it in some festive paper to give to their recipient.
CREATING A HOLIDAY AUCTION
If possible, you can create a holiday auction for your town and incorporate a few engraved pavers into the auction. By doing this, you can surpass the cost of what your brick would be and have more donation money for your fundraiser.
INCLUDE BROCHURES IN YOUR HOLIDAY CARDS
When sending out holiday cards to friends and loved ones, including a brochure! Chances are that they will be more open to making a purchase for your organization since it is the season of giving.
